Eco-pasturing in progress
Sustainable development always been part of the estate's DNA for 25 years. 25 years of commitments and initiatives to protect nature and, in particular, the ecosystem that surrounds the estate. Like every year, our vines welcome a flock of sheeps...
Like every year, the Léoube vineyards are visited by a flock of 500 sheep. They graze in the rows between the vines. This exchange of good practices with a local shepherd allows Léoube to organize natural weeding without the use of chemicals.
Léoube’s soil is fertilized and strengthened and the vines are healthier.
Developing natural synergies while ensuring high quality products is Léoube’s daily philosophy.
This eco-pasturing has already taken place on the southern part of the estate in January.
Since the beginning of February, the herd has been moving to the northern part.
